Greetings! And welcome to Super Bowl Sunday — a day when sometimes compelling football interrupts commercials that used to be funnier before YouTube and niche culture eroded collective consciousness and “water cooler” moments. Alas, it’s still football.
Super Bowl LV kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS, along with just about any streaming service with a live TV component (a list that includes CBSSports.com, CBS All Access, fuboTV, Hulu and Yahoo Sports, among others).
In one corner is the AFC’s Kansas City Chiefs (14-2), who are the defending Super Bowl champs and also find themselves on the brink of a dynasty in the making.
