Syracuse Orange fans know we’ve been following this trend all season long and we aren’t going to let things unravel now that it’s March.
Last night in Charlotte the Orange came out in the second half and appeared to be have the game in control up ten points with under 10 minutes to go. Then Trey McGowens hit a 3-pt shot to make the score 58-51 and Jim Boeheim showed why he’s a Hall of Fame coach. Did he gesture for a timeout and start screaming at his players to wake up?
Nope. He knew what the numbers said had to be done in this situation so he turned to the Syracuse bench and whipped off his sports coat (great shot by Jeremy Brevard above of the moment).
