Syracuse, N.Y. — Dino Babers surprised nobody during his appearance on the ESPN Coaches' Film Room broadcast of Monday night's national championship game between Alabama and Clemson with his affinity for offense.

Like clockwork, Babers practically begged Clemson to air it out against Alabama's man coverage.

"You've got Deshaun Watson for two more quarters," Babers said right before the second half got underway. "If I'm coaching him, I'm about to wear him out."

Everybody knows Babers is an offensive guy who likes throwing the ball.

What a national TV audience witnessed Monday night was the Syracuse football coach exuding a playful personality and quick wit.
