The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a 64-team, $1 million winner-take-all event televised live on the ESPN networks, today announced that it would be bringing one of its 2022 regionals to Syracuse in partnership with the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation. Boeheim's Army, the Syracuse alumni team and defending TBT champion, will serve as the featured squad for the Syracuse Regional, to be played at SRC Arena July 22-25.
"Our entire community has been energized each summer by Boeheim's Army and the TBT," Hall of Fame Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said. "On behalf of the Boeheim Foundation, we are thrilled to partner with the TBT on the regional in Syracuse.
