Syracuse’s Tyler Lydon named to Wooden Award preseason top 50

The John R. Wooden Award announced its preseason top 50 today. It’s little surprise that Syracuse Orange forward Tyler Lydon is among those 50 players named. The Wooden Award goes to the most outstanding player in college basketball each season.

Lydon was already included on the preseason Naismith Trophy watch list as well, which is also given to the best player in the sport, according to their own criteria and voting.
