Through the first few weeks of the Syracuse Orange football season, one of the major concerns was around chemistry between Tommy DeVito and his receivers. There were moments where things looked good, sure. But the timing still seemed beyond five yards pas the line of scrimmage for many of the wideouts.
The biggest worry was Trishton Jackson, despite a nice game in a losing effort vs. Maryland. But after tallying his second 100-yard receiving game in three weeks, he very much appears up for the role as Syracuse’s top pass-catching option.
Against WMU, he had six grabs for 141 yards and two scores.
