White Plains, N.Y. - On Saturday, the Syracuse women's basketball team faced No. 3 Oregon and its All-American guard Sabrina Ionescu.
The Orange women suffered a 75-73 road loss as Ionescu hit several 3-pointers late in the game.
On Wednesday, Syracuse went up against No. 20 Texas A&M, featuring the 2018 National Freshman of the Year Chennedy Carter.
For Syracuse's Tiana Mangakahia, it was an opportunity to earn a place amongst the nation's top guards.
"I think Tiana is getting tired of hearing about all the point guards she's playing and how good they are,'' SU women's coach Quentin Hillsman said.
