White Plains, N.Y. - It took Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi three games to record her first career double-double.
The Syracuse redshirt freshman from Paris contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes off the bench as the No. 18 Orange outlasted No. 20 Texas A&M 75-65 in the Westchester County Center.
Djaldi-Tabdi scored 11 of those points in the second half. She converted 6-of-11 shots from the field. She also blocked three Aggies shots.
"The kid from France did a hell of a job in there," Texas A&M coach Gary Blair said.
Djaldi-Tabdi, in SU's first two games, had scored a total of 15 points and averaged about 17 minutes in those games.
