With a week-long gap between Syracuse Orange men’s basketball games, and a pretty bad loss last Wednesday, there’s not a lot to discuss with the team other than bubble concerns. So we direct our eyes away from the court and instead toward the U.S. Congress, for today’s top news item:
The Daily Orange shared data showing that Syracuse University’s lobbying spend dipped to just $10,000 in 2018 — its lowest amount in two decades, and also a continuation of a trend at the school since Chancellor Kent Syverud took over. Interestingly, though, SU peer institutions didn’t seem to follow that same trend line.
