Syracuse's basketball centers need to play better, but also need help

Syracuse, N.Y. - The box score does not tell the entire story.

After Syracuse lost to Old Dominion Saturday, Jim Boeheim told people his centers "are completely overmatched, no matter who's down there." Fans looked at the collective line of Paschal Chukwu and Bourama Sidibe and echoed a familiar refrain: Syracuse's centers are a glaring liability.

In a combined 32 minutes Saturday, Chukwu and Sidibe did not score a point and collected seven rebounds between them. The Orange lost to Old Dominion 68-62.

But here's the thing about Syracuse and it's center position: It's more complicated that a simple glance at a post-game stat sheet.
