Syracuse’s Andrew White III signs with Cleveland Cavaliers

There was hope that the Syracuse Orange’s Andrew White III could hear his name called in this year’s NBA Draft. However, he did not. But instead, signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

Though White played just one season at Syracuse, he certainly made an impact during that time. He led the Orange in scoring, with 18.5 points per game, while adding 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game as well. White appropriately shot 44 percent from the field, and 40 percent from three. He was also a quality free throw shooter, hitting nearly 84 percent from the stripe.
