The Orange got off to a rocky start to conference play yesterday in Charlottesville, VA.
In hopes of catching a break and continuing their recent winning ways, Syracuse (4-5-1, 0-1-0 ACC) traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to face No. 1 Virginia (7-0-1, 1-0-0 ACC) yesterday afternoon. It would not only serve to be the Orange's most difficult challenge to date this season, but would open a very demanding stretch of games to start conference play.
The Cavaliers are coming off of their best season in program history. Last year, they made it all the way to the championship match of the College Cup, but lost 1-0 to Florida State in the end.
