Syracuse, N.Y. -- Emily Hawryschuk scored four goals to pace a balanced Syracuse women's lacrosse attack as the Orange pulled away from Connecticut 23-11 on Friday in the Carrier Dome.
Nicole Levy, Neena Merola and Vanessa Costantino each scored three times as No. 7 Syracuse wore down the visitors. The Huskies kept the game close until halftime but the Orange put the game away with a streak of seven goals in seven minutes at the start of the second half.
Asa Goldstock made 11 saves in net for SU.
Grace Nolan (Marcellus) and Sydney Watson paced the Huskies with four goals apiece.
