Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse women's lacrosse team will be targeting its sixth-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament final four this weekend.
If it gets there, the Orange will certainly have arrive with a tough skin.
SU announced its 2017 schedule on Wednesday, and it's a slate the school bills as its toughest ever.
Fourteen of the 18 regular-season games are against teams that participated in last year's NCAA Tournament, including national champion North Carolina.
"This is the most competitive schedule in the history of women's lacrosse," SU coach Gary Gait said in a statement.
