The Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse team drove two hours east to take on unranked SUNY Albany. It was a game of runs but the Orange were able to ride out of Albany with an 8-7 win.
It may have been a road game for No. 4 Syracuse, but for some players it's home for them. Three Syracuse players hail from the capital region, most notably Kayla Treanor.
Treanor played at Niskayuna High School, just 20 minutes away from the UAlbany campus. But her trip home was rather quiet.
She had only one goal, but aided her team with 11 draw controls.
