The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released their list of four finalists for this year's Honda Award. Each year, the Collegiate Women's Sports Awards presents the title to the best athlete across 12 sanctioned NCAA sports. The recipient is then eligible for the Collegiate Women Athlete of the Year award as well as the 2016 Honda Cup presented on June 27 on CBS Sports Network.
Syracuse's Kayla Treanor, along with Maryland's Taylor Cummings and Alice Mercer as well as Notre Dame's Barbara Sullivan, are all vying for this year's award.
Treanor set an all-time single-season record for draw controls with 217.
