It was a game that had two acts. The first featured the No. 11 Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team (2-1, 0-1 ACC) jumping out to a 7-2 lead in the first 22 minutes over the No. 1 Boston College Eagles (2-0, 1-0 ACC). The second act saw Boston College establish dominance in the draw circle to slowly take control for the remaining 38 minutes and leave the Dome with a 14-12 victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Orange drew first blood five minutes into the game when attacker Megan Carney caught a long pass from goalie Asa Goldstock at the top of the arc.
