The Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse team had a phenomenal regular season.
They went 14-3, had eight wins over top-10 ranked teams, and averaged five more goals per game than their opponents, all while playing one of the most difficult schedules in the country.
On the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday night, Gary Gait and his Syracuse Orange found out that their excellent season earned them the No. 3 seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament.
As a top-3 seed, they will get a first-round bye and play the winner of Loyola vs. Hofstra in the second round.
