The Syracuse women's lacrosse team toppled Binghamton 16-5 in the Carrier Dome on Saturday to sweep a pair of games on the day.
Earlier Saturday, the No. 5 Orange (3-0) beat Canisius 18-6.
Against Binghamton, SU jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first 13 minutes of the game. The Syracuse defense and goalkeeper Asa Goldstock shutout the Bearcats (0-2) for the first 20:21before Callon Williams put Binghamton on the scoreboard.
The Orange tallied the final goal of the first half and the first five of the second to take a commanding lead.
"I thought it was a great effort by our team after they already played a game today," said Syracuse coach Gary Gait.
