A pair of clutch efforts in two wins has earned a two Syracuse women's basketball players prestigious awards.
Sophomore guard Tiana Mangakahia has been named the ACC's player of the week while junior forward Miranda Drummond earned College Sports Madness national and ACC player of the week kudos.
This is the second conference award for Mangakahia. The Australia native dropped a career-high 44 points against Georgia Tech on Thursday, the second-most points scored by an Orange, male or female, in Carrier Dome history. She went 20-of-21 from the charity stripe for a new career-high in made free throws as well.
