Syracuse, N.Y. -- In the face of overwhelming and well-deserved credit coming her way on Sunday, Syracuse sophomore point guard Tiana Mangakahia did what she does best.
She passed.
Sure, Mangakahia set the all-time ACC single-season mark for assists in her team's 69-63 win over Boston College in the Carrier Dome.
But just as quickly as Mangakahia flips her no-look passes, she dished off the spotlight to her teammates. They are the ones, she pointed out, who turn her passes into points.
"That kind of thing, it comes from everyone on the team,'' she said.
