Syracuse, N.Y. -- In retrospect, Syracuse women's basketball coach Quentin Hillsman was the lucky one.
During the moment, Hillsman said he was unaware that the Orange was going 0-16 from the floor and scoring just five points in the final quarter of his team's 85-70 loss to Virginia Tech in its first game of the ACC Tournament on March 1.
"I've never been a part of a situation to where you don't make a shot in a quarter,'' Hillsman said. "I didn't realize it until I got the stat sheet at the end of the game. No clue.
