Syracuse, N.Y. -- Tiana Mangakahia and Amaya Finlea-Guity led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points each as the Syracuse women's basketball team beat Pitt 70-52 on Sunday in the Carrier Dome.
Gabby Cooper and Digna Strautmane each dropped in 12 for Syracuse. The Orange reversed a recent problem by controlling the boards, 43-31. Jasmine Nwajei led the way in that department with nine for Syracuse, followed by eight for Finklea-Guity.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Orange. SU improved to 15-5 overall and 3-4 in the CC. The Panthers dropped to 9-11, 1-6.
