Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse women's basketball freshman forward Kadiatou Sissoko will miss three-to-five weeks recovering from a knee injury she suffered against Princeton on Nov. 23.
Sissoko has not played since then. Syracuse coach Quentin Hillsman said Sissoko underwent a procedure to fix a meniscus ailment.
At 6-foot-2, the lanky Sissoko was becoming an integral part of the Orange's depth, especially on the press. Before the Princeton game, she was averaging 14.8 minutes and almost five points a game.
"She's doing well,'' Hillsman said after his team beat Towson on Sunday. "She's up and she's moving around.
