Syracuse, N.Y. -- A lot of people in the world of women's college basketball seem to be taking a look at Syracuse these days, and senior Miranda Drummond is the latest player in the spotlight.
Drummond has been named one of 20 candidates for the 2019 Cheryl Miller Award. The annual award, named after three-time Niasmith Player of the Year and Basketball Hall of Famer, recognizes the top small forwards in Division I. It is in its second year.
Drummond started all 31 games for the Orange last season, helping her squad to a sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
