We already knew the Syracuse men's basketball opponent (the Wisconsin Badgers) in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Today, the women's matchups were announced, and the Orange women will be facing off with the Maryland Terrapins.
Like the men's game vs. the Badgers, the SU women's game will also take place on December 2. The Orange will visit the Terrapins at College Park, Md.'s XFINITY Center. Syracuse has never beaten Maryland in four all-time meetings, but are 1-1 in their two previous Big Ten/ACC Challenge matchups.
As we know, 2014-15 was a banner year for the Syracuse women, who went 22-10 (11-5) and recorded a first-round NCAA Tournament victory before losing to top-seeded South Carolina in the second.
