No. 2 Notre Dame was too much for No. 17 Syracuse in the ACC Tournament Finals. The Irish have won three straight ACC championships now.
The Syracuse Orange had a great run in the 2016 ACC Tournament, defeating the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Friday and then the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday. They could not, however, keep up with the No. 2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday though, losing 68-57. Syracuse gave a strong effort but fatigue and Notre Dame's star power were simply too much.
Madison Cable and Brianna Turner both put up 18 points for the Irish and Cable hit a career high six three-pointers against the Orange.
