On a night where much of the bench either was in foul trouble or frankly was under-performing, Syracuse's stepped up big time to help defeat Coppin State 88-56. Taylor Ford put up 21 points, a new career-high, adding four rebounds and shooting 80% from the field in what was a huge performance. Cornelia Fondren scored nine, in addition to grabbing nine boards with seven assists. Julia Chandler contributed to the beat down of the Eagles with 11 points, three 3-point makes, and four rebounds. If we continue to see key showings from the bench, that will definitely improve Syracuse's ability.
