The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team beat the Towson Tigers 98-55 on Sunday at the Carrier Dome. Syracuse, now 7-2, had contributions from a number of players as five players scored in double-digits on the day.
SU’s win was never in doubt as they outscored Towson by 20 or more points in each half. There was one lead change in the entire game. The Tigers led 3-2 in the first quarter, and never would again. Syracuse led 52-29 at halftime and kept its foot on the gas in the second half. The biggest lead of the game was 45 points.
