Syracuse women's basketball closes with win over Boston College, awaits ACC seeding

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Tiana Mangakahia led the way with 22 points and Gabrielle Cooper added 12 as the Syracuse women's basketball team wrapped up its regular season by holding off Boston College 69-63 in the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse finished with a record of 22-7 overall, 10-6 in the ACC. It has to await the conclusion of games later today to learn its ACC Tournament schedule.

Mangakahia assisted on the first bucket of the the game, a three by teamate Miranda Drummond. The helper was Mangakahia's 283rd of the season, setting an ACC record. The sophomore came into the game tied with Notre Dame's Lindsay Allen, who dished out 282 assists last season.
