Syracuse, N.Y.— Syracuse women's basketball coach Quentin Hillsman has been on a season-long search for some more offensive balance from his team.
Sunday, SU gave what it hopes is a coming attraction of what that type of layered attack might look like as it wades into its ACC season.
The Orange stomped Boston College 79-52 in the Carrier Dome, pulling away from a close game at the half with a third-quarter blitz.
SU's terrific backcourt of Alexis Peterson and Brittney Sykes led the way, of course. Peterson scored 15 points and added a career-high 14 assists while Sykes was again ol' reliable with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
