The ACC handed out their end-of-the-year awards recently, and Kayla Treanor and Gary Gait rightfully earned two of the most prestigious.
About a week after the men's conference awards were handed out, Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse Kayla Treanor and coach Gary Gait followed in the footsteps of Kevin Rice and Coach Desko winning the ACC Offensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year awards, respectively.
For the third year in-a-row, Treanor has eclipsed 50 goals on the season, with 53 and counting in 2015. In games where she hasn't produced, others have stepped up, but the offense is better when she contributes with goals or assists, the team scoring 241 of its 274 total goals on the season in those games.
