SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse and Western Michigan have agreed to continue their football series with additional games scheduled for 2020 and 2023, the schools announced in a joint release on Wednesday, April 17. The Orange will visit Western Michigan on Sept. 26, 2020. The Broncos will return the game on Sept. 9, 2023.
Syracuse hosts Western Michigan this fall in the second game of a two-game, home-and-home series announced in 2017. The Orange won the first-ever matchup between the teams, defeating the Broncos 55-42 at Waldo Stadium in last year's season opener.
"We work diligently each season to balance our schedule with non-conference games that prepare our team for the rigors of the ACC," Syracuse Director of Athletics John Wildhack said.
