Like everything that’s happened since the late first quarter today, the weather delay’s timing was just a little off.
The Syracuse Orange and Pittsburgh Panthers’ game at Heinz Field is currently in a weather delay for at least an hour given the thunder and lightning storms in the area. There will be more news about exact timing in the next 15-20 minutes, potentially.
Syracuse trailed 20-17 at halftime, then Pitt’s Kenny Pickett hit Rafael Araujo-Lopez for a 68-yard touchdown to lead off the third quarter, making it 27-17. Just after that, the weather delay rolled in.
