Syracuse, N.Y. -- Coming two of his least productive games this season, Tyus Battle's holiday break was well-timed, giving him a couple of days to re-group and discuss his game with the man who knows it better than anyone.
Battle broke out of a mini-slump in the second half against Eastern Michigan, scoring 16 points after halftime and helping the Orange pull away late in a 62-47 win.
Syracuse's previous games against Buffalo and St. Bonaventure were significantly tougher, with both teams finding success limiting Battle's offense. The ACC's leading scorer through 10 games, Battle's production dipped and he combined to score 24 points over those two, and the Orange found themselves in hard-fought contests.
