Syracuse, N.Y. -- Dino Babers peeled back the curtain of his program for a few minutes Thursday morning, allowing media to watch the Syracuse football offense and defense go head-to-head in small groups with full contact.
In Babers' version of the Oklahoma drill, three offensive players block for a ball carrier while three defensive players start up front with a safety coming downhill.
The drill was balanced with the offense scoring a few touchdowns and the defense getting stops. Here are two highlights:
- Redshirt sophomore safety Devon Clarke made back-to-back stops on sophomore running back Markenzy Pierre.
