Syracuse, N.Y. -- Joe Girard III has set a timetable for his college decision.
Girard, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Glens Falls High School, will likely announce his college choice within the next two weeks, his father said Friday night.
Girard broke the New York State career scoring record as a junior last season, while averaging 50 points per game for Glens Falls High School.
He has cut his list of colleges down to six schools: Syracuse, Boston College, Penn State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Duke.
He has taken official visits to both Syracuse and Boston College.
