Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse men's basketball sports information director Pete Moore said two of Syracuse's point guard options will be game-time decisions for the team's season-opener against Eastern Washington on Tuesday night, while starter Frank Howard is doubtful.
Freshman Jalen Carey and sophomore Howard Washington will both be game-time decisions. Moore said that both players participated in full 5-on-5 portions of the team's practice on Sunday. Both players also participated in the portion of practice that was open to media members on Monday night.
During the media availability on Monday both players seemed to move fluidly, showing no obvious sign of injury or discomfort.
