Syracuse, N.Y. -- The Syracuse men's basketball team opened as a seven-point underdog for Monday's game against Louisville, according to the website VegasInsider.com. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the KFC Yum! Center.
The Orange (15-8, 4-6) are coming off two consecutive losses and one of the program's worst scoring outputs in recent memory against Virginia.
The 59-44 loss was Syracuse's lowest point total in a home game since Dec. 1, 1962, when the Orange opened Manley Field House with a 36-35 win over Kent State.
While the Virginia game marked a new low for this season, Syracuse has struggled significantly on offense for most of the year, and especially in its three recent games.
