Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim visited Billy Preston, a 6-10 senior forward at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., on Monday.
Preston, a top 20 recruit in the Class of 2017, received a scholarship offer from Boeheim.
Syracuse's offer was first reported by Scout.com. Preston confirmed it on his Twittter page.

Preston recently decided to open up his recruitment. He also expressed interest in Syracuse.
Syracuse joins a host of schools that have offered Preston a scholarship.
