Syracuse gave it a solid effort against the #13 team in the country. However it ended EXACTLY like the Pitt game. After the under 4 media timeout the team faded, not really scoring. Miami gave Syracuse a hell of a chance by missing 22 3's, but Syracuse couldn't build a lead when they should have. Despite leading at the half, Syracuse faded and Miami won 64 to 51.
- Malachi Richardson was the leading scorer for the Orange, bouncing back from disappearing for the last few days. He hit 7-15, 5-6 from the floor for 20 points.
