In the final scheduled regular season contest of the season, the Syracuse Mets are tied for the International League North crown with the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRisers at 75-65.
However, the season cannot finish with a tie as one of these two teams will be headed to the postseason. Cue game 141, winner take all contest Tuesday afternoon. The game will take place in Scranton with first pitch scheduled at 1:05 p.m.
Going into the final day Syracuse was a game back of the RailRiders. With the Buffalo Bisons in Scranton, the Mets needed help, along with taking care of their own business in Rochester against the Red Wings and everything came up the Mets way.
