The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team wrapped up their spring scrimmages with an exhibition against the defending national champion Yale Bulldogs. It wasn’t pretty.
The unofficial final score was 18-14 in favor of Yale according to Syracuse’s official release, but the Bulldogs took a 17-6 lead after three quarters when they took out their starters per the Syracuse.com recap. Yale went up 4-0 in the first three minutes of the scrimmage and ended up leading 6-1 after the first quarter. They’d win the next two quarters 6-3 and 5-2 respectively.
