Former Syracuse Orange attackman Brendan Bomberry was selected by the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League with the seventh overall pick in the league’s 2018 Entry Draft.
Bomberry played two seasons with the Orange after spending his first two years as a member of the Denver Pioneers. During his time in Syracuse, he started in all 31 games he appeared, mainly at attack, and recorded a total of 56 goals and 18 assists for 74 points. He had 28 goals in both of his years, leading John Desko’s squad in that category this past season.
