The Syracuse Orange leave Oahu with a 1-2 record in the Maui Invitational after a 105-56 win over host Chaminade. There’s not a lot you learn about a win over a D2 squad, but with LSU and Virginia up this week, it was a good win for the Syracuse psyche.
Here are takeaways from last night’s game.
Rebound and Run
Syracuse used their size advantage to dominate the boards and then pushed the pace to get better shot attempts. The Orange enjoyed a 55-30 rebound advantage for the game and they turned defense into offense as they finished with 27 points off Chaminade turnovers.
