After Saturday’s shellacking of the Boston College Eagles Syracuse Orange Head Coach Jim Boeheim announced that he was trying to add another game before next Saturday’s contest against the Buffalo Bulls.
Per Jeff Goodman of Stadium, Boeheim found a match pretty quickly.
Northeastern is currently 0-1 on the season after a lost to UMass (who they will host this afternoon) and ranked 181st in KenPom. Last season Northeastern finished 17-16 and have to replace leading scorer and Westhill alum Jordan Roland. The Huskies are led by guard Tyson Walker who scored 29 in the opener but this should be an opportunity for Syracuse to get players more minutes as they head into tougher competition.
