Coming into Wednesday night’s showdown against the No. 16 Ohio State Buckeyes, the Syracuse basketball team was making just 23.3 percent of their shots from beyond the 3-point line this season.
Against Ohio State though, the Orange definitely found their stroke from the outside.
Thanks to making 11-of-24 shots from 3-point range on Wednesday, Syracuse left the Buckeyes’ home court with a huge 72-62 win over the No. 16 ranked team in the nation.
With the victory, the Orange are now 4-2 this season and appear to be back on track after suffering two straight losses during the 2K Empire Classic a couple of weeks ago.
