Syracuse, N.Y. -- The Syracuse lacrosse team has selected five players to serve as captains for the 2019 season.
Tyson Bomberry, Austin Fusco and Brad McKinney will be team captains for the second year in a row while Marcus Cunningham and Peter Dearth were elected for the first time.
Captains are chosen by a team vote.
Bomberry, who missed part of the season with injury last year, still finished second on the Orange with 15 caused turnovers. Cunningham has started each of the last two seasons on close defense, missing one game due to injury last season.
