Syracuse, N.Y. -- The inconsistency of the Syracuse lacrosse team has at least helped mold what, by now, should be a strength of the Orange: learning from the past to fix the present.
SU faces another test of that resilience on Saturday at a time when the very definition of its season again hangs in the balance.
North Carolina visits the Carrier Dome for SU's final regular-season ACC game. No. 6 Syracuse is 6-4 overall and 3-0 in the ACC, but is also coming off a decisive 13-8 loss to Cornell on Tuesday.
The current challenge is reminiscent of ones earlier this season when Syracuse dropped consecutive contests to Johns Hopkins and Rutgers but then rebounded for huge wins against Duke and Notre Dame.
