The former Syracuse midfielder who was arrested in March and pled guilty to second-degree harassment in April will not be returning to Syracuse.
Hayes McGinley has un-enrolled at Syracuse University and will be exploring other options. McGinley, formerly the #22 midfielder recruit and #61 overall recruit in the country according to Inside Lacrosse, found himself in hot water earlier in the year after punching two people on Marshall St. and attempting to enter the car of an Insomnia Cookies employee. The red-shirt freshman from Bentleyville, OH, pled guilty to second-degree harassment charges in April.
